JAMMU, Aug 26: The 26th annual convention of Life Insurance Agents Federation of India (LIAFI), Srinagar division, was held here today, which was attended by agents from all the branches of the Division.
N Gajapathy Rao, all India secretary general, LIAFI, who was the chief guest on the occasion, during his address said that management should come forward to mitigate the genuine problems and demands of the agents community.
He lauded the leadership qualities of divisional president, Narinder Sharma and divisional secretary, Bodh Raj Sharma of Srinagar division for motivating and guiding the agents’ community.
Rao expressed dissatisfaction over discriminating attitude of the management while enhancing festival advance. He further said that the fate of enhancement of housing loan is hanging and other major demands are still pending. He also demanded increase in bonus and final additional bonus to policy holders.
He also informed that 1st time in the history of LIAFI, Divisional Council, a meeting was held at Sanasar on July 15 under the able leadership of Divisional president, Narinder Sharma.
He also informed that on North Zonal EC meeting held on January 26 at Udaipur, All India president of the Federation, HM Jain, had informed that the Government of India had decided that sovereign guarantee to LIC policy holder will continue.
The convention culminated with vote of thanks by branch president, Udhampur, Amar Nath Mehra.
