Little Flower School crushes Pacca Danga Warriors in inaugural tie

JAMMU, June 24: Little Flower School Akhnoor registered 8 runs win over Pacca Danga Warriors Akhnoor in a keenly contested inaugural tie of the Under-14 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Singh Cricket Club (SCC) Akhnoor and AYC Akhnoor at Government Higher Secondary School, Akhnoor.
Batting first, Little Flower School Akhnoor scored 78 runs in the 15 overs by losing not even a single wicket. Nitish Sharma was the top scorer with 34 runs, while Stifen made 26 runs.
In the second inning, Pacca Danga Akhnoor failed to chase the target and bundled out at 70 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 15 overs.
From Little Flower School side, Nitish, Rishu and David shared 1 wicket each.
Nitish was adjudged as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Deepak Mangotra and Vinod Mangotra as umpires, while Ashu acted as scorer.
The tournament is being held under the overall supervision of Sham Singh Langeh, President, Singh Cricket Club (SCC), Akhnoor.
