Religious intolerance has become a great threat to the world peace. There is no doubt about it that all religions are true and teach us love, tolerance, humanity, morality and to respect other religions. But, unfortunately, for the last few decades a trend has emerged where some non sensical individuals and groups don’t hesitate to prove other religions wrong or in a bad shape.
These people exploit the other religious believers emotionally. It adds fuel to fire. If this trend continues with the justification of freedom of speech then it is our bad luck. Such unwise and unfortunate incidents are bound to prove to be fodder for terrorism.
There is urgent need to discourage it. United Nations (UNO) has a great role to play this in maintaining peace and understanding. Hence, it is the duty of all the countries, in general and the heads (leaders) of all the religions of the world in particular to come forward to force the United Nations (UNO) to pass a strict international law to discourage the trend of hating or showing disrespect to the believers of other religions.Let us hope good sense prevails on people to respect other religious, otherwise, religious intolerance may lead us to the third world war.
