JAMMU, Feb 9: A live mortar shell was found in a field close to the International Border in Samba district.
“One Omkar Singh, son of Tarsem Singh, resident of Chilayari this evening found 82 MM mortar shell in his field and informed the nearer Border Outpost,” report said.
He said that the troops of BSF rushed to the spot and seized the shell, adding, “the shell in presently in the custody of the troops and the matter is being investigated.”
