RAMBAN, May 6: Banihal police rescued 4 bovine animals and arrested a load carrier driver.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Banihal police station intercepted a load carrier JK19-2629 on Chamalwas-Neel route.
During checking, police recovered 4 bovine animals and arrested the driver of the vehicle, who has been identified as Shabir Ahmed Sohil, son of Gulam Rasool Sohil of Krachihall Neel.
A case under FIR number 54/15 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at police station Banihal and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Banihal police station Inspector Tariq Naik made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Banihal Mohammad Rafiq and SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
