JAMMU, Mar 24: Lord Mahavira Playway School, Shiv Nagar, Jammu celebrated Annual Sports Day at ‘OM’ Palace, here today.
Over 200 students participated in the function, wherein Vijay Gupta was the chief guest.and the special guest was S P Langer (Retd Chief Engineer).
While welcoming the audience and parents of the children, Madhu Sharma the Principal of the School highlighted the various activities and objectives of the school which are aimed to promote and motivate the children towards education through the medium of play-way method.
She informed that besides academic studies, the kids are involved in various cultural and sports activities and provide them the opportunity to display their talent in various fields so that overall development of their personality is taken care of.
The special feature of the function was the participation of the parents of the children in various games which were presented on the stage and were lauded by the audience with clapping and children were found very happy and comfortable to play games with their parents.
The programme was conducted by Manika Sharma, renowned anchor and vote of thanks was presented by Madhu Sharma.
