LS disrupted over Telangana; Shinde’s letter to Nitish

NEW DELHI : The Lok Sabha could not function in the Question Hour for the fifth consecutive day as protests over creation of Telangana, deaths in Muzaffarnagar relief camps and Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde’s letter to the Bihar Government over Maoist violence rocked the House leading to its adjournment till noon.
As soon as the House met for the day, members belonging to the BSP, SP, TDP and the Congress from Andhra Pradesh besides the JD(U) broke into vociferous protests.
The BSP members were raising the issue of deaths of around 60 people due to cold in relief camps set up for riot-hit victims of Muzaffarnagar, while the SP members raised slogans to countered their protest. (AGENCIES)
