JAMMU, Nov 9: Northern Command Army Commander Lt Gen Y K Joshi today visited the forward posts along the Line of Control and reviewed the security scenario in Poonch and Rajouri districts.
Defence spokespersons here said that Lt Gen Joshi, Army Commander Northern Command visited troops deployed in forward posts on the LoC in Poonch and Rajouri and reviewed operational preparedness and security situation.
“Army Commander appreciated the robust CI/CT grid and exhorted troops to remain vigilant,” said the spokesperson.
Pertinent to mention that Pakistan has been continuously violating the ceasefire along the Line of Control by firing unprovoked in these Sectors.
