Magnum XI smashes Bhairav Club by 62 runs, enters into next stage

JAMMU, June 27: Magnum XI Cricket Club smashed Bhairav Cricket Club (BCC) by a huge margin of 62 runs and entered into next stage of the ongoing Ist Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh Gold Cup T-20 Cricket Tournament, being played at Cantt Ground, Satwari here.
Batting first, Magnum XI made 93 runs for all put in 17 overs. Kamran was top scorer with 31 runs, whereas Naseer made 23 runs.
From BCC, Pardeep was wrecker-in-chief with 4 wickets, whereas Kalu took 3 wickets.
In reply, BCC failed to chase the target and were bundled out at paltry 31 for all out. Pardeep made 9 runs and sunny scored 8 runs.
For Magnum XI side, Kunal was the wrecker-in-chief with 4 wickets, whileas Kamran scalped 3 wickets.
Kamran of Magnum XI was declared as man of the match for his all round performance.
The match was officiated by Charanjeet Singh and Aman Cheema.
The tournament is being organised by Youth National Conference Gandhi Nagar.
