JAMMU, Aug 26: BJP Health and Medical Cell Convener J&K, Puneet Mahajan along with Shatdarshan Sadhu Samaj Sangathan Mantri J&K, Rajesh Ghiri; Swami Mahadev Ghiri, Krishan Bharati, Mohan Bharati and other members of Health & Medical Cell team distributed Ayushman Bharat Golden Cards to the saints of J&K.
They also made the saints aware about various welfare schemes initiated by PM Modi led Government like Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana, AYUSH for Immunity, PMSMA etc.
Mahajan laid emphasis on importance of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) that aims to connect digital health solutions of hospitals across the country.
He said that all Indians can be ensured when quality healthcare is provided to all.
“This is possible by providing not just the infrastructure but also the technology platform that ABDM envisages to build,” he maintained adding: “During our fight against COVID 19 pandemic, we saw the importance of digital services for healthcare delivery.”
