Mahajayanti of Bhagawaan Gopinath celebrated with religious fervour, gaiety

JAMMU, July 13: The 121st Mahajayanti of Bhagawaan Gopinathji was celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety at Bhagawaanji’s Udaiwala Bohri Ashram and other Ashrams across the country today.
A large number of devotees thronged the Udaiwala , Bohri Ashram of Bhagaawan Ji from different parts of Jammu early this morning where a grand function was organised by Bhagawaan Gopinathji Trust to pay obeisance to their master.
The Bohri Ashram is also known as Sidh Peeth by the devotees of Bhagawaanji where their spiritual and mundane concerns are fulfilled, a handout issued by the Ashram here, today said.
The programme started with Paduka Poojan at 3-80 am that is a worshipping symbolic Paduka of Bhagawaanji. This was followed by serving of prashad to hundreds of Sadhus. They were also given a token money known as Dakshina the precedence started by Bhagaawan Ji during his life time in Srinagar, Kashmir.
On this day Bhagawaan Ji was himself offering Dakshina to hundreds of Sadhus who used to come for Swami Amarnath Ji Yatra after they were served with Prashad in his Ashram at Srinagar.
This was followed by devotional songs and music which continued late in the evening. The evening Aarti concluded at 7.15 pm. There was intense spiritual activity in the Ashram throughout the day. Thousands of devotees were served with Prashad.
The Mahajayanti was also celebrated at Bhagawaanji’s Kharyar Srinagar Ashram, Greater Kailash , Pamposh Enclave , New Delhi, Hastsal village, Vikaspuri New Delhi, Nande Balewadi road, Nande Pune , Maharashtra, Devangondi Hosahalli, White Field, Bengalure. Besides, the Mahajayanti was also celebrated at Amritsar, Chandigarh, Jallandhar, Jaipur, Kandivilli, Mumbai, Chambur Mumbai, Hyderabad and also at various Satsang Mandals spread across the country and abroad.
