Mahavir International organizes blood donation camp

JAMMU, Nov 21: Mahavir International Jammu Centre & Maa Vaishno Sewa Mandal organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region, Blood Transfusion Department, GMC, Jammu and District Red Cross Society, Reasi at Government Higher Secondary. School Ban Ganga Road, Katra  today.
The Camp was inaugurated jointly by Dr. Vijay Sawhney, HoD Blood Transfusion Department, GMC, Jammu,  Ajit Patwa from Faridabad Donors Club and R.C Puri, Hony. Secretary, IRCS, Jammu Region. They threw light on the importance of Voluntary Blood Donation and urged the gathering particularly the Youth to come forward and donate blood Voluntarily for Humanitarian cause. Besides, R.C. Puri, Hony. Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region also made a brief note on the importance of Voluntary Blood Donation. He also appreciated the spirit of discipline, devotion, dedication and enthusiasm of Mahavir International Jammu Centre and Maa Vaishno Sewa Mandal, Delhi for organizing the Blood Donation Camp and the volunteers of Faridabad Donors Club who come to Katra for donating blood voluntarily in the said camp.
More than 60 units of Blood were donated by the Members of Faridabad Donors Club and Mahavir International Jammu Centre. Those present in the Camp include Vinod Jain, Rajni Jain, Rita Jain, Anoop Jain,  Rajesh Jain,  Rita Jain,  Varinder Jain, Leena Jain,  Parveen Jain and Ashu Jain from Mahavir International Centre,  Rajat Thakur,  Kanchan and  Sumit from Faridabad Donors Club and  Raj Sehgal of Maa Vaishno Sewa Mandal.
