JAMMU, Aug 21: The 47th Mahayagya and Ram Katha will be organized at Baba Sidhgoria Temple, Paloura, in outskirts of Jammu from August 24 to September 3.
This was disclosed today by Baba Kuldeep Ji while addressing a press conference at temple premises. Giving details, Kuldeep Ji said that Ram Katha will be held from August 26 to September 3 and will be recited by Shri Piyush Ji Maharaj while other programmes like Hawan-Poojan, Sant Sammelan and Maha Yagya will commence on August 24.
He said that the religious programme will be started on August 24 with ‘Jal Yatra’ followed by ‘Mandal Poojan’ and ‘Yagya’ from 8 am to 12 noon on August 25. “Shri Ram Katha will be held daily from 1 pm to 5 pm from August 26 to September 3”, he added.
Baba Kuldeep Ji further disclosed that Shoba Yatra will start on August 26 at 3 am from Paloura and culminate at 7 am while ‘Puran Aahuti’ and Bhandara will be organized at 12 noon. He informed that accommodation and food for priests and Mahtamas will be arranged daily by Baba Sidhgoria Ashram, Paloura at Temple premises.
Shri Kuldeep Shastri of Panjirthi (Jammu) will be Yagya Acharya while the managing committee members include Satish Sharma, Vikram Singh Badwal, Rajinder Singh Bahu and Ravi Kumar Magotra.
