We often read in newspapers that the machines installed in hospitals and super speciality hospitals often remain defunct because either they are not maintained properly or there are no trained staff to handle them. With the result, they remain unused from the very date of purchase thus causing great inconvenience to the public and more so monetary loss. In banks also, sometimes the computers go out of gear, resulting in the long wait of customers for various transactions. The street lights get out of order due to negligence. Same is the case with all the machines used in offices for public convenience. So it is enjoined upon all the concerned that before installing costly machines, especially in hospitals trained personnel should be at hand to repair them before getting damaged or unused so that the purpose of installing such machine is fulfilled for all practical purposes.
