SAMBA, July 9: District president of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Narinder Partap Singh inaugurated Major Mayur Singh Jamwal Cricket Tournament, organised by Brig Rajinder Singh Youth Club at village Rajinderpura, near here today.
The chief guest lauded active participation of youth which indeed is pivotal to thwart drug menace among youth. He appreciated organisers for organising this event and contributed Rs 5,000 along some sports material to boost morale of the youth.
“Many such tournaments should be organised in near future and the Government should also take initiative to promote sports among the youth,” he said.
BJYM’s District general secretary, Ankush jamwal and Mandal vice president, Vikrant Singh Radhey were also present during the event.
