JAMMU, July 23: PCC general secretary Vikram Malhotra today launched development related work at Pacci Dakki in Ward No. 2 of Jammu East Constituency.
The development work, which was launched today in presence of a large number of people of the area, mainly comprised of laying of tiles at Pacci Dakki and funds estimated at Rs. 3.40 lakh have been provided by Amrit Malhotra, former Chairman, Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Council.
Speaking on the occasion, Vikram Malhotra, said that lanes at Pacci Dakki were uprooted due to rains and other sewerage related work, and there was urgent need for repairs, but the same was pending since last several months.
“People from the area had given representation demanding repair of lanes of the area, which was fulfilled with start of work of laying of Paver tiles,” he said.
He also promised to continue his work for betterment of the Constituency.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included Akash Nayyar, Saroop Singh, Madhu Abrol, Anju Gupta, Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Pardeep Khosla, Kulbhushan Sharma, Pawan Lakhan, Atul Sharma and others.
