JAMMU, June 29: Jammu based former Indian footballer Arun Malhotra today interacted with Indian team footballer Anirudh Thappa who recently came from Qatar after playing World Cup Football qualifying tournament.
Malhotra who presently is working with ONGC as senior officer at Dehradun Uttarakhand held a detailed discussion with the Indian’s team dynamic footballer Anirudh Thappa at Dehradun.
It is pertinent to mention here that footballer Thappa is considered to be the backbone of Indian Football team and has been playing with the team since long time.
During discussion, they discussed various issues related to Indian football including a detail discussion on Euro Cup and COPA America Football Tournament which is going on with full swing, how to manage coaching style as well as to maintain fitness level during off season and how to improve grassroots football.
They stressed upon the need to play more international level matches to perform well at international arena during their discussion.
