JAMMU, Sept 4: MAM College today organised an interaction cum demonstration session regarding the folk music of J&K in relation to nature and environment.
The session was held under the chairmanship of Dr Ramesh Chander, Principal of the College in which Prof Kailash Mehra, HoD Music, interacted with students and a team of Professors.
Prof Kailash Mehra interacted and demonstrated folk music melodies of J&K on the project “Symphonies of life: Nature and Environment in the Folksongs of Punjab, J&K”.
Bua Ditta, famous musician of the State, accompanied her on tabla.
