JAMMU, Feb 6: The IQAC of the MAM college organised an Intra College Symposium competition with regard to constitutional development in the State, Environmental Laws Essential Services Guarantee Act and Right to Information Act.
Twelve participants share their ideas on different topics and spoke on the importance of various laws. Dr Twinkle Suri convened IQAC welcomed the august gathering and gave a brief profile of the IQAC. Dr Anita Sudan principal of the college was the chief guest for the symposia. She exhorted the students to keep abreast of laws and follow them in true letter and spirit.
Prof Anita Sharma, HOD English, Prof Kiran Raina Department of Commerce, Dr Nirlape Kour HoD Political Science, Prof Sudesh Kumar HoD environment science were the jury members for the symposia competition. Sara Bhat Under Secretary Legal Services Authority (Principal District and Sessions Judge) was the observer during the symposia.
Waheed Anjum and Pragun Bhalwal compered the proceedings of the event while Dr. Shalini Sharma presented the formal vote of thanks. Faisal Rishu, Sachin Sharma, Nawaz shriek stood first, second and third respectively in the symposia.
