MENDHAR, Oct 19: One person was arrested along with fake revenue documents, category and permanent resident certificates in Mendhar town today.
A police spokesman said that on the basis of complaint Tehsildar Mendhar, Shahzad Khan raided the premises of one Mohd Rashid, son of Alam Din, resident of Salwah in the local Mendhar market and recovered 103 un-complete files, four complete PRCs and three ST certificates besides 24 other files. A diary containing names of some people and Revenue employees/ Patwaris etc with cash details, advance taken and balance amount was also recovered. The police was called which arrested tge accused.
The police said that the accused has been arrested after Tehsildar filed a written complaint in this connection. Investigation into the case has been started. Some moré arrests are likely in this connection. He was in contact with some revenue officials and doing this work.
