KISHTWAR, Oct 10: Police arrested a person along with forest produce.
As per police sources, on specific information, a police team led by DySP Operations Kishtwar Irshad Ahmed under the supervision of SSP Kishtwar Abrar Ahmad Chowdhary apprehended a man along with forest produce including 5 kilograms of trillium govanianum, 6 kilograms wild squill and 20 kilograms punj.
The arrested person has been identified as Shabir Ahmad Bhat, son of Mohammad Anwar, a resident of district Anantnag.
A case under FIR Number 3/17 under Section 379 RPC and 6 Forest Act has been registered at Warwan Police Station and investigation started.
