JAMMU, Apr 5: Pounichak police arrested a man along with huge quantity of illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Pounichak police post laid a naka and asked a pedestrian to stop for checking, as he was hiding himself after seeing the police cops.
The pedestrian tried to ran away, but the cops intercepted him after a brief chase.
During checking, police recovered 120 pouches of illicit liquor from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The accused has been identified as Sunder Saini, son of Ram Partap, a resident of Bhagatpur.
Police team led by Incharge Pounichak police post SI Sumit Magotra made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Rattan Singh, SDPO Domana Verinder Singh and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
