JAMMU, Sept 25: Khour police arrested a person along with illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Khour police station stopped a bus and during checking, police recovered 25 pouches of liquor from the possession of a passenger and arrested him on the spot.
The accused has been identified as Balwan Lal, son of Pikha Ram, a resident of Hamirpur Khour.
A case under FIR number 77/16 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Khour Ravinder Rakwal made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Gurvinder Pal Singh and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
