JAMMU, Jan 17: A man has been arrested with illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Kanachack Police Station led by SHO Inspector Ravi Singh Parihar under the supervision of SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul and SP Rural Suram Singh laid a naka near Sua No 1 and intercepted a Scorpio car bearing registration number JK18-3443.
During checking, police team recovered 8 bottles and 30 beer cans from the vehicle and arrested the driver, who has been identified as Rohit Sharma, son of Om Parkash of Mandi Wala Jourian.
A case under FIR Number 6/2020 under section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Kanachack and investigation started.
