JAMMU, Feb 11: Domana and Pouni Chak Police jointly arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Domana led by SHO Inspector Mahesh Sharma and assisted by Incharge Police Post Pouni Chak PSI Nitish Khajuria under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sunil Singh laid a naka and apprehended a man along with 40 bottles of illicit liquor.
The arrested person was identified as Suraj Prakash, son of Munshi Ram of Ghou Manhasan District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 50/2022 under Section 48 (a) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
