RAJOURI, Oct 15: A 30-year-old villager was seriously injured after he was attacked by a bear in the fields near his house at village Galeer in Budhal area today.
The incident took place at around 10.30 am when Mohd Shabir, son of Mohd Zameel, resident of Galeer was cutting maize crop. Suddenly, a full grown bear who had hidden in the maize field attacked the villager. He was rescued by other family members and rushed to Rajouri hospital with serious injuries. Later, the victim was referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu.
