JAMMU, Oct 21: A man has attempted self immolation by pouring kerosene oil on himself in New Plot area.
As per police sources, a man identified as Mukesh Kumar, son of Ashok Kumar attempted self immolation by pouring kerosene oil on himself in New Plot area.
He received burn injuries and was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where he was stated to be out of danger when last reports came in.
A case under FIR Number 128/2020 under section 309 IPC has been registered at Pacca Danga Police Station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
