JAMMU, Aug 1: An elderly man was today beaten by his son and daughter-in-law in the premises of High Court (HC) in Janipur area of city outskirts.
“Kuldeep Raj (68) son of Safro Ram, resident of Paloura, was hit in the head with a brick by his son while his daughter-in-law thrashed him with her footwear over some issue when they came out of the Court after attending hearing of some case”, police sources said.
They said that Kuldeep Raj received serious injuries in his head and he was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where his condition was stated to be stable.
A case in this connection was registered at police station Janipur against son and daughter-in-law of the victim.
