JAMMU, Aug 20: A man has been booked for raping a woman several times during the past one year in the area falling under the jurisdiction of Bishnah police station.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a lady with Bishnah police station stating that a man identified as Rajat Kumar, son of Sham Lal of Bishnah raped her many times during the past one year and threatened her of dire consequences if she revealed the incident to anyone.
After conducting medical examination, the woman has been restored to her family members.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 181/17 under Section 376 RPC has been registered at Bishnah police station and hunt has been launched to arrest the rapist.
