JAMMU, Aug 19: A man allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence, police source said.
The deceased was identified as Lalit Kumar, son of Girdhari Lal, a resident of Hirachak Tehsil Marh District Jammu. He was admitted in GMCH Jammu on August 9 and breathed his last today evening.
The body has been shifted to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for completion of medical and legal formalities.
Kanachack Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
