JAMMU, Apr 29: A 60-year-old man was knocked to death by a matador in Gandhi Nagar locality here today, police said.
They said Jugal Kishore son of Mani Ram Thappa of Gandhi Nagar was hit by a matador this morning, resulting in severe injuries to the sexagenarian.
He was taken to Government Medical College Jammu where he succumbed to his injuries later, police said.
While the body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem, a case under relevant sections of the law stands registered at Gandhi Nagar Police Station and further investigation taken up.
