JAMMU, May 1: The employee of a private telecom company today died due to electrocution in Muthi area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the man identified as Tejo Mahto (55) son of Tulo Mahto, a resident of Jharkhand (at present New Plot, Jammu) was busy in erecting tower of a private telecom company, when he came in contact with a live wire.
In unconscious condition he was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead. After conducting postmortem the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
The Domana police has taken cognizance of the matter.
