JAMMU, June 2: A 25-year-old man died while his pillion rider injured after the scooty they were riding on was hit by a bus at Nud Village here.
Sunny Kumar son of Yash Pal of Gurha Jagir died on-the-spot while Anku Kumar (23) son of Ashok Kumar of Gurha Jagir suffered injuries after their two-wheeler was hit by a bus at Nud, a police official said.
He said that after the preliminary treatment, the injured man has been shifted to the Government Medical College Jammu where he is undergoing the treatment.
While the body of the deceased has been handed over to his family members after performing the legal formalities a case under the relevant sections of the law has been registered at the concerned police station and further investigation taken up.
