JAMMU, Feb 28: An elderly man today died under mysterious circumstances in Marh area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, the man identified as Ravi Sharma (52) son of Krishan Dutt, a resident of Halqa Marh, was found in unconscious condition at his residence this evening following which the family members rushed him to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
“The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for conducting postmortem tomorrow”, he said adding a case in this connection has been registered at police station Domana.
However, quoting family members, he said that the man was heavily drunk, which may be the cause of his death.
