Srinagar, July 5: A 35-year-old man was electrocuted in Arampora village of Sumbal in North kashmir’s Bandipora district today.
The man, identified as Mahammad Ramzan Teli, 35, son of Sonaullah Teli of Arampora Sumbal, was electrocuted after coming in contact with a high tension (HT) line while he was axing trees. He died on the spot.
The body was handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities. Police have registered a case and started further investigation.
