JAMMU, Jan 5: A man allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train in Bajalta area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the man who has been identified as Pardeep Kumar (45) son of Mohan Lal, a resident of Sehora (Kunjwani), allegedly ended his life late last night by jumping in front of a moving train at Bajalta in outskirts of Jammu.
On getting information, a police team from police station GRP Jammu reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu. Today, after conducting postmortem the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
A case in this connection has been registered at police station GRP Jammu and further investigations are underway.
