KISHTWAR, Apr 3: A man fell into river Chenab.
As per police sources, a man identified as Meeniya of village Pyass Bhatna reported to police post Padyarna stating that yesterday his father Mohammad Amin, son of Mattu Bakerwal was standing near the bank of river Chenab, when he slipped and fell into the river.
Locals started rescue operation and later police also joined them, but the body was not fished out, till last reports were compiled today.
Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
