UDHAMPUR, Apr 13: A young man was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Ramnagar Chowk, near Pandav Mandir, here today.
The deceased has been identified as Kaku Ram (39), son of Mangat Ram of Mongri. He was a labourer and had been living alone in a rented accommodation near Pandav Mandir, Udhampur.
Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation while body of the deceased was shifted to hospital for the postmortem.
Meanwhile, a motorcyclist was seriously injured when his bike was hit by a Maruti car near Omara Morh Udhampur, this evening.
The injured was identified as Jash Pal (48) son of Chunni Lal of Battal Balian in Udhampur.
