RAMBAN, July 17: A middle man was found hanging with a tree in Batyari area. However, the family members have suspected that the deceased has been murdered.
As per police sources, a 42-year-old man identified as Walayat Singh, son of Shanker Dass of Gali Dar was found hanging with a tree around 200 meters away from his rented accommodation at Batyari.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the body to mortuary of District Hospital.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Inquest proceeding under section 174 CrPC have been initiated by the Ramban Police.
Meanwhile, family members have suspected murder of the deceased and demanded inquiry.
