JAMMU, June 29: Miran Sahib police arrested a man along with illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Miran Sahib police station apprehended a man along with 30 pouches of illicit liquor.
The accused identified as Chander Bhushan, son of Ram Lal of Rattian tehsil RS Pura was selling the illicit liquor pouches to the common masses for illegitimate profits.
A case under FIR Number 92/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Miran Sahib police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Ravinder Singh Rakwal and assisted by ASI Yougal Kishore made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
