BHADERWAH, Apr 19: Bhallra police arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Bhallra police post laid a naka and apprehended a person along with 45 pouches of illicit liquor.
The accused has been identified as Sindoor Singh, son of Narayan Singh, a resident of District Ramban, presently residing in Kerian, Seri, Bhalla.
He was carrying illicit liquor pouches to his village for selling among the people for illegitimate profits.
A case under FIR Number 46/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered in this regard at Bhaderwah police station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Bhallra police post ASI Balwant Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Bhaderwah Inspector Jatinder Sambyal, SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma, Additional SP Bhaderwah Shaazad Salaria and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
