RAMBAN, Apr 30: Police today arrested a person along with 850 grams charas from Seri area here.
As per police sources, police team from police station Ramban intercepted a person on suspicious grounds near Seri.
During checking, police recovered 850 grams of charas and arrested the accused, who has been identified as Abdul Rashid, son of Saif-ud-Din of Seri Bhagna.
A case under FIR Number 54/15 under Section 8/20 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Ramban police station and investigation started.
Police party headed by SHO Ramban police station Inspector Ajay Singh Chib made the arrest under the supervision of SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
