JAMMU, Dec 20: RS Pura police arrested a man and recovered large quantity of illicit liquor from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from RS Pura Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a pedestrian.
During checking, police recovered 59 small bottles of illicit liquor from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Jitender Kumar, son of Rattan Lal, a resident of Ward Number 13, Purana Pind, Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 169/18 under section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at RS Pura Police Station and investigation started.
