JAMMU, July 23: RS Pura police arrested a man and recovered sharp edged weapon from his possession.
As per police sources, a team from RS Pura Police Station during patrolling intercepted a person near Satriyan Morh.
During checking, police recovered sharp edged weapon from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Jatinder Kumar, a resident of Satriyan. The accused was on his way to commit a heinous crime, but police foiled his bid.
A case under FIR Number 90/18 under relevant Sections has been registered at RS Pura Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by HC Rajinder Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SHO RS Pura Inspector Bishnesh Kumar, SDPO RS Pura Sourabh Prasher, SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
