DODA, Sept 2: A man was killed while four others were injured in vehicles head-on collision here tonight.
As per police sources, an Eeco van and Alto car collided head-on near Doda, in which one person died on the spot and four others were injured.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started rescue operation with the help of locals.
All the four injured persons were rushed to nearby hospital, where their condition was stated to be stable when last reports came in.
The deceased was identified as Arman, son of Mohammad Ramzan of Doda City, while the injured were identified as Shanti Devi, wife of Krishan Lal of Jangalwar Figsoo Thathri, Gagan Sharma, son of Pawan Sharma of Pul Doda, Jatinder Kumar Patel, son of Thag Patel of Bihar and Shokat Ali Butt, son of John Mohammad of Pulie Gandoh.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Doda and investigation started.
