SRINAGAR, May 12: A man has been missing in Sheeri, Baramulla, since yesterday morning after reportedly offering prayers, police said.
A police spokesman said Abdul Rashid Sheikh of Bonpora Fatehgarh, Sheeri reported to police that on 11 May his brother Bashir Ahmad Sheikh, 38, son of Ahad Sheikh went to a nearby Masjid to offer morning prayers, but he did not return back.
Police has lodged a missing report and launched search to trace him out, the spokesman said, adding, if anybody having any information regarding the whereabouts of the missing person may please contact Police station Sheeri 9596767711, 9622564440 or Police Control Room on Dial 100.
