POONCH, Jan 18: Army troops nabbed a middle aged person hailing from Punjab near the fencing along the Line of Control (LoC) in Balakote area of Mendhar last night.
A defence spokesman said that at around 11.30 pm last night, a night patrol of 198 Field Regiment noticed some movement near the fencing along LoC in Balakote area. The jawans challenged the man and captured him. He was taken to nearby Army camp and after questioning handed over to Mendhar police today.
Later, he was identified as Lala Mistry, son of Kala Mistry, resident of Punjab and presently residing in Mendhar area for the last few years. The police was investigating. The police said that he was behaving like a person of unsound mental health.
