JAMMU, June 28: Mandi Juniors registered an easy win by 25 runs over Amit Club in the ongoing Friendship Cup Cosco Ball Cricket Tournament, here today.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Mandi Juniors scored 63 runs in the allotted overs. Vishu was the top scorer with 29 runs, while Aman contributed valuable 21 runs to the total. Namnesh was the pick of the bowlers for Amit Club, who scalped 3 important wickets.
In reply, Amit Club managed to score just 38 runs, thus lost the match by 25 runs. None of the Amit Club batsman could give a recognized performance. Vishu and Mayur of Mandi Juniors scalped 2 wickets each. For his splendid all-round performance, Vishu was adjudged man of the match.
