JAMMU, Oct 28: Defeating their rivals convincingly in the State Junior Snooker Championship, Manik Sharma and Arjun Singh sealed berth in the semifinals at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here.
Manik Sharma got the better of Babloo Thakur (2-1) by (38-32, 30-42, 49-42), while Arjun Singh prevailed over Aman Sharma (2-0) by (69-58, 57-26).
In other matches played today, Navneet Singh beat Hargun Sethi, Manik Sharma outplayed Ananya Mahajan, Kunal Jamwal defeated Vasu Dev Gupta, Amir Hussain trounced Suraj Singh, Kumar Jamwal beat Varun Luthra, Ananya Mahajan drubbed Sudhanshu Gupta and Vipan Malhi outclassed Alash Mahajan.
