New Delhi : Manish Pandey, the Karnataka batsman, has been called up to the Indian Test team as a replacement for Ajinkya Rahane for the fourth Test to be played in Mumbai starting Thursday (December 8).
Rahane was hit on the thumb while practicing in the nets on Wednesday and that could be the reason for his ouster from the squad for the fourth Test.
Mumbai bowler, Shardul Thakur has been roped in as back-up for Mohammed Shami, who is a doubtful starter for the Mumbai Test with a sore knee. (Agencies)
